JAN Import

A palletizing system at JAN Import can handle up to 45 boxes per minute.

Kallesoe Machinery has manufactured and installed an advanced palletizing system with robotic solution for JAN Import, a Danish company that imports and packs groceries.

The equipment is intended to turn, transport, palletize and wrap cardboard boxes with food. It can handle up to 45 boxes per minute from three packaging lines.

“Our packaging line has become significantly faster and has a much higher reliability than the old one, so we are very satisfied. Besides this, the whole project phase and installation was handled very smoothly and professionally” says managing director Allan Christensen from JAN Import.

Kallesoe Machinery has entered into a partnership with robot manufacturer KUKA, who supplies the robot for this plant. "We have positive experience with working with KUKA and the project has been very successful," says CTO Jesper Lodahl, who was responsible for the project at Kallesoe Machinery.
